Level 4 – Tourism and Hospitality Management

This program enables learners to develop their knowledge of theories applicable to management in the tourism and hospitality industry. It enables learners to make well-informed and confident decisions about the management of work areas in the tourism and hospitality industry. This program is of much importance for professionals to acquire more advanced and better skills. 

Entry Criteria 

  1. Age: -18 Y.O or older 
  2. Academic achievements: Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 Diploma or equivalent 
  3. Business experience: Management experience checked with the delivery center for Mature learners over 21 Years old 
  4. English requirements: (IETLS optional) if candidate is not from a majority English speaking country: must provide with English Language competency: 
  • 5.5 in IELTS R&W min 5.5 
  • Pearson 51 
  • CEFR Level B2 
  • TOEFL iBT 87-109 

Objectives 

The objective of the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management qualification is to support learners’ development as managers within the tourism and hospitality industry. The qualification enables learners to develop their knowledge of theories applicable to management in the tourism and hospitality industry. It enables learners to make well-informed and confident decisions about the management of work areas in the tourism and hospitality industry. Successful completion of the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management qualification will provide learners with the opportunity to progress to further study or employment.

Admission Process 

The Office of Admissions holistically screens applicants’ files for the following: CV, cover letter, diplomas obtained, transcripts of the last two years, recommendation letter from a previous teacher, valid English Test (IELTS and equivalent requirements are optional), working certificates for mature learners)
